The Drip Pit Lining field of the Calcite section should be used to record observations of calcite drip pit linings.
A calcite drip pit lining is a drip pit which has been lined with a thin coating of calcite. The pit itself could be in any material including bedrock, [[Gypsum {Inventory)|gypsum]], sediments like mud or gravel and moonmilk or even guano.
