And even more specifically, it is designed to aid cavers in filling out the Carlsbad Cavern National Park Cave Inventory Form. Detailed descriptions and photographs should be representative of what is likely to be encountered in the Guads. Please be certain that you have the rights to all text and photographs that you include here. Do not copy other peoples' creative works. Also, out of concern for the caves, cave names are not included - there is no reason to identify the location of a photograph, just the type of resource shown. Caves and their contents are protected under the Federal Cave Resources Protection Act.
The goal of the project is to produce a book which can be printed for use in places like the research huts at Carlsbad Caverns National Park and can be loaded onto portable devices like a phone, laptop, etc. for use in-cave.
